Needless to say, there's a lot to unpack here but I'll try to keep things brief. Not bad for a film whose central plot is driven by a night of drunken letter writing. Very enjoyable affair thanks to its solid cast, unpredictable twists and turns, and a pretty damn impressive earthquake scene that earned it anĪcademy Award for Best Visual Effects.
